Terms of Service
Effective date: January 1, 2026
These Terms are modeled on the Korea Fair Trade Commission's Standard Terms for Online Digital Content Use, and include important provisions regarding the use and licensing policy of the XN Launcher software.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms govern the conditions and procedures for using the in-car launcher application and related web services provided by XN Launcher ("Company" or "Service"), as well as the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- "Service" means the XN Launcher application developed by the Company for in-car display devices, together with the account and license management website.
- "User" means any member or non-member who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
- "License" means the digital right that formally activates the Service and binds (connects) it to a device for use.
Article 3 (Free Trial and License Policy)
- The Company provides an initial 14-day free trial period upon installation on a new device.
- To continue using premium features after the trial period ends, users must purchase a valid license (lifetime license or monthly subscription) and register (bind) their device to their account.
- Each license may be connected to only one device at a time.
Article 4 (Device Transfer and Change Policy)
To prevent abuse and ensure fair operation of the Service, the number of device transfers (unbinding and re-registering) is limited as follows.
- Lifetime license: up to 2 device changes per 6-month period from the date of purchase
- Monthly subscription: up to 1 device change per monthly billing cycle
- Once the allowed number of device transfers is used up, device changes are restricted until the next period begins; to use the Service on an additional device before then, an additional license must be purchased.
Article 5 (Constant Network Connection Required; Disclaimer)
- Because XN Launcher's license verification and security authentication occur in real time, a network (internet/tethering) connection must be maintained at all times for normal operation.
- The Company is not liable for any temporary service interruption caused by the user's vehicle network failure, offline environment, device compatibility issues, or similar causes, except where such interruption results from the Company's intent or gross negligence.
Article 6 (Withdrawal of Purchase and Refund Policy)
- Lifetime license: A full refund is available if requested through our customer support channel within 5 days of the date of payment. After 5 days, refunds are not available due to the nature of digital content.
- Monthly subscription: You may cancel auto-renewal at any time. After cancellation, you may continue to use the Service normally until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be billed on the next billing date.
- All refund requests and inquiries are handled through our official Telegram support community.
Article 7 (Cleanup of Long-Term Inactive Accounts)
Accounts that do not hold a valid license and have had no login or access activity for 6 months or more may be automatically deleted after prior notice, for the purposes of system optimization and privacy protection.
Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Article 1 (Personal Information Collected and Purpose of Collection)
The Company collects the minimum information necessary to provide the Service and to verify the one-account-per-device licensing policy.
- Account information: email address, password (member identification, login, customer support)
- Device fingerprint information: a hashed unique hardware identifier, Android unique identifier, and OS build information (to prevent duplicate license registration, verify device binding, and block abnormal access)
- Payment information: a unique payment reference ID (to verify payment approval status and process refunds)
Article 2 (Retention and Use Period of Personal Information)
- A member's personal information is destroyed without delay upon account withdrawal or termination of the license agreement, in principle.
- Device fingerprint information is retained while a license remains bound to that device, and is destroyed or deactivated immediately when the device connection is unbound from My Page.
- Information belonging to unpaid accounts with 6 months or more of continuous inactivity is automatically destroyed.
Article 3 (Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing)
The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without the user's prior consent, except that the following processing is outsourced to ensure stable service delivery.
- Infrastructure and authentication/database management: Supabase Inc.
- Global payment processing: our payment service provider (e.g., Stripe/Paddle or the applicable payment PG)
Article 4 (User Rights and Customer Support)
Users may request to view, correct, or delete (withdraw) their registered personal information at any time. For inquiries related to personal information processing, please contact us via our official Telegram channel (@XNlauncher).
